Who We Work With
The agency owns the building. Someone else has to keep it clean.
Most public buildings in Texas are maintained by a facilities contractor working under a multi-year agreement, and most of those agreements carry a HUB Subcontracting Plan. AES fits either side of that arrangement: direct to the agency, or as the certified exterior cleaning sub on the contractor’s team.
Facilities management and O&M contractors
You hold the building maintenance contract. Exterior glass, stone and metal at height is outside what your crews self-perform, and the agency still expects it clean. AES is the exterior sub: we quote in your format, carry our own insurance and FAA authorizations, and your HUB Subcontracting Plan gets a certified VetHUB line item.
State agencies and the Texas Facilities Commission
Campus and district office buildings, maintenance yards, laboratories and visitor-facing headquarters. We work the Comptroller's NIGP codes for exterior building cleaning and window washing, meet HUB goals directly, and deliver a per-building condition record with every job.
Cities, counties and special districts
City halls, libraries, public safety buildings, utility service centers, courthouses and parking structures. AES is an approved City of Austin vendor and is working through regional certifications for San Antonio and Houston.
Universities, community colleges and school districts
Dozens of buildings, one procurement office, and a window to work in between terms. We scope the whole campus from imagery, price per square foot by surface, and schedule around the academic calendar.
Hospital districts and public health campuses
Low-disturbance protocols, chemistry selected for occupied patient-facing buildings, and no suspended crews outside a window. Entrances and canopies stay open while we work.
Airports, transit and public venues
Where drones cannot fly, our ground-based soft wash crews still can, and we quote hand-wand cleaning for lower buildings on or beside an airfield. On the venue side, we cleaned the stage canopy at Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park.
How It Works
From solicitation to a clean building, in the order procurement needs it.
Send the scope or the solicitation
A building list, a set of photos, a drawing package or the full RFP. We take off square footage by surface (glass, metal panel, stone and concrete, roof) from your documents and imagery, and confirm heights and access on a site walk.
Get a per-building quote in your format
Written quote within 48 hours of the site walk, priced per square foot by surface with sales tax itemized and recurring-program pricing shown separately. If you need our numbers on your bid form, in your spreadsheet or inside an HSP, that is how you get them.
Paperwork before the first flight
Certificate of insurance naming the agency and the prime, Safety Data Sheets for every product we apply, FAA LAANC airspace authorization where required, and a site-specific plan covering staging, exclusion zones, runoff control and hours of work.
Clean the building, document the result
Test panel before full application. Storm drains covered during application, pH checked after the rinse. The drone works each elevation from the ground up to about 180 feet, and roofs are cleaned by a trained two-person crew from the roof surface with the drone handling inspection before and after. You receive before-and-after imagery for the file.

Procurement Questions
Asked by contracting officers and facilities directors.
- Is Aerial Efficient Solutions a certified Texas HUB?
- Yes. Aerial Efficient Solutions LLC is a Texas VetHUB, the veteran-owned Historically Underutilized Business certification administered by the Texas Comptroller, under VID 13944641706. Spend with AES counts toward the HUB goals in a state agency HUB Subcontracting Plan.
- Can AES be the HUB subcontractor on our bid?
- That is the most common way we work with facilities contractors and primes. Send the exterior scope, we return a per-building quote you can carry into the HUB Subcontracting Plan, and we sign the HSP subcontractor documentation the agency requires. We are comfortable being one line in a much larger contract.
- Which NIGP and NAICS codes do you work under?
- NIGP 910-03 (Building Cleaning Services, Exterior) and 910-81 (Window Washing Services). NAICS 561790 Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings; 561720 Janitorial Services; 541370 Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services. 561790 is primary.
- What insurance do you carry, and will you name the agency and the prime?
- General Liability with an Umbrella, Commercial Auto, and drone and equipment coverage. We issue a certificate of insurance before the first visit naming the owning agency, the facilities contractor and any other required entity as additional insured. Current limits and carriers are published on our credentials page.
- Can you work an occupied building during business hours?
- Yes. Everything stages from the ground, so there is no roof access, no anchors and no equipment in the lobby. We set an exclusion zone under the work area with a visual observer on every flight, and we can move glass work to early mornings or weekends where entrances need to stay fully open.
- What about buildings near an airport or in controlled airspace?
- Inside controlled airspace our Part 107 pilots file an FAA LAANC authorization, which is usually approved electronically before the crew arrives. Where flight is not permitted at all, such as on an airfield, we clean lower buildings from the ground with hand wands and the same soft wash chemistry. We tell you which method applies to each building in the quote.
- What chemistry do you use, and how do you handle runoff?
- Surface-specific soft wash formulations, with Safety Data Sheets provided for every product before the job. We run a test panel first, cover storm drains during application, manage runoff at grade, and check pH after the rinse. Sodium hypochlorite concentration at the nozzle is adjusted to the level of growth on the surface rather than applied at one strength everywhere.
- How is the work priced?
- Per square foot by surface type: glass and metal, stone and concrete, and roof are each priced as what they are, with a project minimum and sales tax itemized. Recurring programs (quarterly, semi-annual or annual) are priced lower than one-time cleaning and shown as a separate option so a procurement office can compare both.
- Do you clean roofs with the drone?
- No. Roofs are cleaned by a trained two-person AES crew working from the roof surface at soft wash pressures, fed by our trailer-based system. The drone handles the roof inspection before and after, in visual and thermal, so you receive a condition record along with the cleaning.
- How far do you travel?
- AES is based in Dripping Springs, west of Austin, and works Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth routinely. For multi-building agency portfolios anywhere in Texas we travel; tell us the building list and we will tell you honestly whether the economics work.
Send us the building list. We will send back numbers you can bid with.
Per-building pricing within 48 hours of the site walk. HSP documentation signed on request. Site walks are free for public agencies and their contractors anywhere AES serves.
