Cleaning

Commercial Roof Cleaning by Drone

Inspect, treat, verify — moss, lichen, algae, and staining removed from tile, metal, and membrane roofs at low pressure.

Commercial Roof Cleaning by Drone — AES drone in action

Capabilities

What we deliver.

01 / 04

Clay & Concrete Tile

Moss, lichen, and algae lifted from barrel and flat tile without the foot traffic that breaks tiles or the pressure that strips the surface glaze.

02 / 04

Standing-Seam & Metal Roofs

Oxidation, staining, and organic growth removed from painted and Galvalume metal roofs — low pressure keeps seams, fasteners, and coatings intact.

03 / 04

TPO, PVC & Modified Bitumen

Biological growth and dirt film cleaned from membrane roofs so reflectivity comes back and warranty inspections have a clean surface to read.

04 / 04

Inspection Included

Every roof cleaning starts with an aerial inspection and ends with one — visual and thermal — so you get a condition record, not just a clean roof.

How It Works

The deliverable, not the deck.

A stained roof is more than a cosmetic problem. Lichen and moss hold moisture against tile and fasteners, biological growth shortens membrane life, and a streaked roof is the first thing an appraiser or an insurance adjuster photographs. Traditional roof cleaning solves it by putting a crew and a pressure washer on the roof — which is how tiles crack and membranes get scarred.

We start and finish in the air. The drone inspects the roof in visual and thermal, RoofGuard treatment is applied at low pressure with a high-cling surfactant so it stays put and works, and the drone verifies the result. Most roofs are treated entirely from the air; where geometry or material calls for it, a tethered two-person crew applies treatment from the roof and the drone confirms coverage.

  1. We fly a visual and thermal inspection first, identify the roof material and any deferred-maintenance items, and quote the cleaning per square foot with any findings noted separately.

  2. Treatment is applied from the air at low pressure with RoofGuard, formulated to cling and dwell rather than blast. Downspouts and drainage are managed so runoff does not reach landscaping untreated.

  3. A post-treatment flight verifies coverage and documents the result. You receive the before-and-after imagery with the inspection notes for your file, your insurer, or your board.

Why It Matters

Three reasons this changes the math.

01

Extend the roof, defer the replacement

Removing organic growth and standing debris is the maintenance that keeps a tile or membrane roof inside its service life. It is a fraction of a replacement line item.

02

A condition record every time

The inspection imagery that comes with every cleaning is what you hand to the adjuster after the next hail event, or to the buyer at diligence.

03

Nobody walks your roof unless it is needed

Foot traffic is what cracks tiles and voids membrane warranties. The default is air; the crew is the exception, and you will know in advance which one your roof gets.
